By Vinay Mishra Delhi: As part of Day-7 of the Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan (SNSPA), Safdarjung Hospital organized a comprehensive series of special health camps dedicated to strengthening preventive, promotive, and holistic healthcare for women, families, and the broader community.

The event featured multiple specialized activities, including antenatal care (ANC) check-ups, nutrition counseling, oral health awareness, screening for tuberculosis (TB) and non-communicable diseases (NCDs), and rejuvenating yoga sessions. A dedicated psychologist conducted an informative session on mental health, while focused screening camps for breast and cervical cancer were held alongside an outreach program on sports injury management.

These camps saw enthusiastic participation from the community, delivering essential health services and information that advance the central objectives of the SNSP Abhiyaan. Over the past six days, more than 55,000 individuals have benefited from these initiatives, underscoring Safdarjung Hospital’s leading role in promoting accessible healthcare. In addition to in-hospital activities, outreach programs increased community reach and impact.

The distinguished Hon’ble Member of Parliament, P. P. Chowdhary, graced today’s camp with his presence. He interacted warmly with patients and healthcare providers, commended the initiative, and distributed nutritious millets to women and children. Highlighting the importance of preventive healthcare, Chowdhary remarked, “The Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan is a transformative campaign that places women’s health and family welfare at the forefront of our nation’s healthcare agenda.
