TEAM :-
To apprehend criminals active in the area, a dedicated team of police officials from AATS, East District, led by Insp Surender Kumar, I/C AATS, and comprising SI Manoj Solanki, ASI Rajeev, HC Sunil, HC Anuj, Ct Deepak, Ct Ankit, was constituted under the overall supervision of the undersigned.
On 05.03.2024, an information was received by SI Manoj Solanki that that an interstate criminal, along with his associates, would arrive at Parking near Chilla Border flyover and Hotel Crown Plaza, Mayur Vihar, Delhi, in a stolen Swift car with intentions to commit a crime. The information also suggested that the criminals were armed with illegal firearms. Acting on this intelligence, the team proceeded to the mentioned location and set up a trap to apprehend the criminals. They observed a silver Swift car parked near the Chilla border flyover, Mayur Vihar, Delhi, and upon confirmation from the informant, swiftly moved to cover the vehicle. Upon sensing the presence of police, one of the criminals, later identified as Sumit, attempted to flee the scene while brandishing a pistol at the police party. Following a brief pursuit, the police managed to subdue him, while the other two criminals were apprehended from the car itself. Upon interrogation, they identified themselves as (1) Sumit, aged 20 years r/o Village Bhaisravali, PS Tigaon, Faridabad, Haryana, (2) Gurvinder Singh @ Sonu, aged 48 years r/o Krishna Park, Mahavir Nagar, Tilak Nagar, Delhi and (3) Vikash, aged 28 years r/o Village Nakhdola, PS Khedkidolla, District Gurugram, Haryana.
During
sustained interrogation, accused Sumit confessed to being inspired by the
infamous gangster "BINNU BHAISARWALI," who also happens to be his
real cousin. Sumit expressed his desire to dominate the local criminal scene in
the area. He also admitted his involvement in a murder case of a person who was
preparing to contest the election of Sarpanch in Village Mahmoodpur, PS Tilla
More, Loni, District Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. The UP Police has declared a
reward of Rs. 25,000 for his arrest in connection with this case. Further
interrogation revealed his participation in a gunpoint robbery and extortion
incident in Faridabad. He met Vikas through a mutual friend in 2020, and they
became friends. After the Ghaziabad murder incident, Sumit evaded authorities
for about six months, secretly residing with his friend Vikas. During Vikas's
interrogation, he disclosed that he used to run a tent house in his village and
was also involved in cases of auto theft with Gurvinder, residing in Mahavir
Park, Tilak Nagar, Delhi. Following this revelation, Gurvinder underwent
sustained interrogation, during which he confessed to his involvement in the
sale of stolen vehicles. Gurvinder, along with Vikas and Sumit, had come to
showcase a stolen Swift Dezire car, taken from Palwal Sadar, Haryana, to a
potential customer for sale.
During their cursory search, the authorities recovered a loaded country-made pistol from Sumit's possession, while two live cartridges were found in Vikas's possession. Additionally, a stolen Swift Dezire car, along with its key, was seized from Gurvinder. This vehicle was reported stolen under FIR No. 372/23 dated 19.12.23 at PS Palwal Sadar, Faridabad, Haryana. Consequently, a case vide FIR No. 74/24 u/s 25/27 Arms Act & 411 IPC was registered at PS Mayur Vihar. Further investigation is on progress.

1. Sumit R/o Village Bhaisarwali PS-
Tigav, District Faridabad Haryana is about 20 years old. He has studied up to
the 12th class. He drew inspiration from the notorious gangster "BINNU
BHAISARWALI," who happens to be his cousin, and is an active member of the
BINNU BHAISARWALI gang. This gangster has a long-standing rivalry with the
Fracture gang in Faridabad, Haryana. Sumit is wanted in a murder case at Police
station Tilla More, Loni, District Ghaziabad, with a reward of Rs. 25,000 on
his arrest. Additionally, he is wanted in an extortion case at PS Khedipul,
Faridabad, Haryana, in case FIR No. 378/23, u/s 379B/384/34 IPC & 25 Arms
Act.
2. Vikash r/o Village Nakhdolla, PS Khedki Dolla, Maneshar, District Gurugram Haryana is about 28 years old. He has studied up to the 12th class. He used to run a tent house in his village Nakhdolla. He is also involved in auto lifting cases with Gurvinder R/o Mahvir Park, Tilak Nagar Delhi.
3. Gurvinder @ Sonu r/o New Mahabir Nagar, Tilak Nagar, Delhi is about 46 years old. Previously, he is involved in a gambling case at PS Tilak Nagar. Gurvinder used to deal in selling stolen vehicles and also worked as a scrap dealer in Mayapuri Junk Market, Delhi
