TWO PERSON IS ARRESTED WITH A GAMBLING AMOUNT BY PS KALAYAN PURI EAST DELHI

Raj Kumar New Delhi: In a recent development, the diligent efforts of the team of Police Station Kalyanpuri had arrested two accused in gambling act as well as recovered 10 gambling noted slips, one diary, one pen, and 2060/- rupees. On 17.01.24, HC Satender along with Ct. Sita Ram was patrolling in the area of PS KalyanPuri. While they were present at 6 Block’s Chowk TrilokPuri Delhi. They got secret information regarding gambling. On receiving credible information about illegal gambling activities taking place in the area of 4 Block DDA Market Trilokpuri, Delhi, the police team swiftly took action. Head Constable Satender, acting on the tip-off from his informer, informed his fellow officers about the ongoing card game in progress. Despite the challenges, HC Satender along with the assistance of Ct. Sita Ram managed to apprehend two individuals who were involved in the illegal gambling activity. These individuals were identified as follows: Sanjeev R/o Trilok Puri Delhi Age-48 years and Abhishek R/o Rajkumar R/o Trilok Puri Delhi Age-30 years. Upon their apprehension, a search of the individuals revealed a total sum of ₹ 2060/- in various denominations were recovered. Additionally, 10 gambling noted slips, one diary and one pen were seized indicating their involvement in the gambling activity. The meticulous handling of this case, including the collection of evidence and detainment of suspects, culminated in a successful operation. The suspects were taken into custody and A Case Vide FIR No 70/24 U/s 12/9/55 Delhi Public Gambling Act, PS Kalyanpuri has been registered in this regard.  Further investigation is under progress.

PROFILE OF ACCUSED PERSONS:- 

(1) Sanjeev R/o Trilok Puri Delhi Age-48 years. He has studied up to 7th class and drives an E- Rikshaw.

(2) Abhishek R/o Rajkumar R/o  Trilok Puri Delhi Age-30 years. He has studied up to 6th class and runs an Ola cab.
