North East Delhi: On 07/03/2025 an information was received regarding an unknown male dead body in the bushes of vacant DDA land. Kailash colony, Delhi. The injuries were inflicted on the neck of the deceased and perpetrators tried to disfigure the face of the deceased. Accordingly case was registered U/s 103(1)/3(5) BNS, PS Jyoti Nagar.
Dedicated teams were constituted, comprising of Insp. Ved Prakash, SHO/PS Jyoti Nagar, Insp Govind Singh, ATO/Jyoti Nagar under the supervision of Sh. Deepak Chandra Gunwant, ACP/Gokal Puri. Also a dedicated team of Narcotics squad North-East district led by Inspector Kiran pal, Insp/Narcotics/NED under the supervision of ACP/Operation/ North East was also formed to work upon the case. The team was properly briefed and tasked to nab the culprits involved in murder and solve the case at the earliest. The team scanned and analysed footages of several CCTV Cameras installed in the locality.
Technical surveillance was mounted and Information was also gathered from locally deployed informers. That on local inquiry the identity of deceased was establishes as Hritik S/o Sunder R/o B-32A, Jagatpuri, Delhi age 20 years. On further investigation it was found that Hritik eloped and married the sister of one of the accused and deceased Hritik humiliates her.
Thereafter the team of Narcotics/NED under the leadership of Insp Kiran Pal arrested four accused persons (1) Shivam,age- 20 yrs S/o Ramesh r/o 502/9, gali no1, Ashok Nagar, Jyoti Nagar (2) Sonu, age-18 yrs s/o Kamlesh r/o B-block, Gali No -06, Jyoti Nagar, Delhi (3) Suraj, age- 23 yrs s/o Suraj Chand r/o A-1 Gali No.2, East Nathu colony Chowk, Delhi. (4) Vishal, age- 18 yrs s/o Suraj Chand r/o A-1 Gali No.2, East Nathu colony Chowk, Delhi form D- Block, Ashok Nagar Delhi.
On sustained interrogation of accused persons, it came to fore that Hritik was involved in a case related to elopement of sister of one accused. Thereafter Hritik used to humiliate and torture the sister of accused and also hurls abuse and extended threats to her family members. On the intervening night of 6/7-03/2025, Hritik (the deceased) came at the house of the accused and abused & passed derogatory comment against his family members.
Consequent upon the accused hatched conspiracy and in pursuance to it called his friends. As planned, they all consumed liquor with Hritik and when Hritik was under the influence of alcohol they booked a cab and brought him in the vacant/isolated land in Kailash Colony, Delhi, where they all murdered him. On their instance weapon of offence (blood stained pieces of wash basin) and cloths worn by them at the time of crime were recovered.
Further investigation of the case is going on.
