ROBBERS INVOLVED IN A CASE OF ROBBERY REGISTERED AT PS JYOTI NAGAR DELHI, ARRESTED WITHIN 08 HOURS BY TEAM OF PS JYOTI NAGAR DELHI

On 22/12/2024, a PCR call vide GD No.18 A at 05.27 hrs received at PS Jyoti Nagar regarding robbery of Rs. 6000 from a grocery shop at Gun point. The complainant alleged that at about 5 AM while he has opening his grocery shop in Ashok Nagar, Jyoti Nagar, Delhi, meanwhile, 03 persons came on a bike. 

Two of them entered in his shop and put a Deshi Katta at him & another person robbed of Rs. 6000 from the cash counter of grocery shop and pushed him back. All the accused persons fled from the spot. The aforesaid case has been registered at PS Jyoti Nagar and the investigation has taken up. 

 INVESTIGATION

Considering the gravity of the offence, a special team led by SHO/Insp. Ved Prakash comprising of SI Rajbir, ASI Naresh Kumar, HC Rahul Puniya , Ct Nitin, Ct. Vipin, Ct. Amit Tomar, Ct. Anil, and Ct Kuldeep was constituted under the close supervision of Sh. Deepak Chandra, ACP/Gokal Puri. 

OPERATION AND ARRESTS

During the course of investigation, three police teams were constituted and started investigation from the spot and analyzing the CCTV footage in different direction and approximately 50 cameras were analyzed and three persons were noticed on a bike in blur image. The route of accused persons were also analyzed and identified the accused persons from their cloths and complainant also identified them. Thereafter, on the basis of CCTV Footage and on secret information, apprehended all three accused persons namely Mayank, Age-24 Years, Ashwani Kumar, Age-26 Years and Ankur Tyagi, Age-25 Years. The M/cycle used in the crime was also recovered from Ashawani and One Contrary Made Pistol (Deshi Katta) from Mayank, and robbed money recovered. The accused disclosed about their involvement in the case.

PERSONS ARRESTED & RECOVERIES 

1. Ashwani Kumar, Age 27 years, is found previously involved in 03 cases including cases of Robbery and theft.

2. Ankur Tyagi @ Mayank, Age 25 years

3. Mayank , Age 24 years, One country Made Pistol (Deshi Katta), M/Cycle used in the crimes and robbed money recovered and is previously involved in 04 cases including cases of Robbery and theft.
